L.A. Noire Full Game is played in third-person viewpoint. The user can freely explore its dynamic open environment, mostly by car or on foot. As the game proceeds, the player moves through several police department bureaus, including Patrol, Traffic, Homicide, Vice, and Arson. The plot is broken into many "cases" in which players must examine crime sites for evidence, follow up on leads, and question suspects and witnesses; the player's performance in these actions influences how much of each case's story is disclosed and their overall rating. L.A. Noire PC Game action sections are fast-paced, with chases, battles, and gunfights. Outside of cases, the player can conduct extra street crimes and acquire goods scattered across the game area.
